Paul Tait Roberts, Director
Paul Roberts' career began with Commonwealth Public Broadcasting in 1989. By 1996, he was producing regional on-air image and membership spots and serving as television producer for on-air fundraisers. In 2000, Paul became a Director of full length TV documentaries and specials. Currently, Paul is lending his directorial skills and talents to the development of independently produced documentaries, programs for televison, websites and exhibits.
His credits include Three Presidents (2001) and The James River (2003), both from the East of the Blue Ridge series and both produced with Charlottesville's Oscar winning Director Paul Wagner. Further credits include Downtown Richmond Memories (2002), the fourth in the Richmond Memories series, Hollywood, Richmond’s Garden Cemetery (2004), Enjoying Wine with Mark Phillips (2005), Liberty or Death (2007), Across the Aisle (2008), and The Neon Man and Me (2008). Most of these programs enjoyed national distribution through American Public Television.
Honors include three national PBS Advertising and promotion awards and three Capitol Region Emmy nominations.
